Tuğçe Avcısert is a Partner at Pelister Keki Saraç & Co., with a practice focusing on patent law, life sciences regulation, artificial intelligence law, and startup advisory, particularly early-stage investments and technology-driven businesses.

She began her legal career at a top-tier intellectual property law firm, where she developed strong expertise in patents and life sciences, advising multinational pharmaceutical and technology companies on complex regulatory and IP matters. She later complemented her private practice experience with in-house counseling at a global pharmaceutical company, where she served as Türkiye’s first Compliance Officer and led the implementation of global compliance and governance standards.

Following her in-house role, Tuğçe founded and led her own private practice for over five years, advising founders, investors, and startups on early-stage investment rounds, corporate structuring, regulatory strategy, and technology-related legal matters, with a particular focus on AI-driven and innovation-focused businesses.

Having built her career over 15 years across top-tier private practice, in-house leadership, and independent advisory, Tuğçe has developed a full-circle understanding of legal practice from both the client and advisor perspectives. Joining Pelister Keki Saraç & Co. marks a natural next step in her professional journey, allowing her to contribute her multidisciplinary expertise as part of a strong, forward-looking team serving complex and innovative client needs.

In addition to her legal practice, Tuğçe lectures on Artificial Intelligence Law and technology regulation, delivers AI-focused trainings for corporate organizations, actively collaborates with university technoparks and innovation hubs, and is the producer and host of the law and technology podcast Mikroton on Spotify.

She holds an LL.B. degree from Koç University in İstanbul and is a graduate of Österreichisches Sankt Georgs-Kolleg in İstanbul. Tuğçe is fluent in English and German and is admitted to the Istanbul Bar Association.
